I bit the bullet and bought shoes and pedals today. I figure if something is worth doing, it's worth doing right.
I got them from BikeHub at Shailer Park. The guys (Ben and his Dad) were very helpful and happy to listen to my silly "newbie" questions.. Here's what I bought:
Shimano MT41 SPD Shoes
PD-M424 Pedals
Hopefully money well spent...
